The League of American Orchestras recently released a data-driven study of subscription trends. Reimagining the Orchestra Subscription Model is a longitudinal study that covers ten years of data supplied through the annual Orchestra Statistical Report. The results reveal a shift in buying patterns. While patrons are still interested in orchestras, the survey indicates that barriers, like price and committing to set dates far in advance, are barriers to traditional subscription purchases.
