ArtsBoston has recently published a report titled “The Arts Factor”, which features new research on the ways that Greater Boston’s nonprofit arts and cultural sector transforms lives, builds stronger communities, and strengthens the local economy. The report taps into data which details how Boston’s arts and cultural sector creates 26,000 jobs and contributes nearly $1 billion to the local economy every year. The majority of data used in The Arts Factor 2014 Report derives from over 365 arts and cultural organizations who participate in the Massachusetts Cultural Data Project.
