Local paper, Providence Business News, reported the recent May 2nd launch of the Rhode Island Cultural Data Project in the article, “Arts groups to participate in financial data project.” Promoting the benefits of the project for both “grant givers and grant recipients,” the article features quotes from Rhode Island CDP Task Force members: Randall Rosenbaum, Executive Director of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts, and Daniel Kertzner, Grant Programs Officer at The Rhode Island Foundation. Also interviewed for the article is Anita Walker, executive director of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, who describes the MCC’s experience in utilizing CDP data for advocacy (the Massachusetts Cultural Council began taking part in the Massachusetts Cultural Data Project in mid-2009).
