The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance, one of the CDP’s partners and a member of the CDP Pennsylvania Task Force, has parlayed CDP statistics into a compelling direct mail piece advocating for the arts and culture industry in Pennsylvania.  In these times of financial turmoil, when arts and cultural funding is frequently on the chopping block, organizations like the Cultural Alliance are using CDP data to show that decimating arts funding, contrary to popular belief, actually has a negative affect the economy, tax revenue, and job creation.  The Cultural Alliance’s constituents are encouraged to sign their petition that will advocate for Pennsylvania’s arts and cultural sector with the legislative body in Harrisburg.
