The Fox UP News affiliate for Upper Michigan aired this news clip from one of the Cultural Data Project’s regional trainings in Marquette, MI and highlighted how the CDP helps arts and cultural organizations compete for funder dollars more efficiently.  Representatives from 23 local arts and cultural organizations were in attendance.  Enthusiasm about the CDP was shared both by CDP veterans, such as ArtServe Michigan, and organizations expressing new interest, including The Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum.  Attendees praised the convenience of the system, which allows users to enter data only for multiple funder applications, as well as CDP’s built-in financial reporting, which helps organizations target areas for improvement in their financial health.
