Grantmakers for Effective Organizations cite CDP as a successful way to streamline applications

In a recent Grantmakers for Effective Organizations (GEO) report, On the Money: The Key Financial Challenges Facing Nonprofits Today and How Grantmakers Can Help, the Cultural Data Project was cited as an example of how grantmakers can work together to streamline the application process for their applicants.   Based on an assessment of the field by Nancy Burd,the report outlines the hardships facing nonprofits today and puts forth several ways in which grantmakers can help reduce the burden.

GEO is a coalition of more than 350 grantmaking organiztions committed to building strong and effective nonprofit organizations.  Understanding that grantmakers are successful only to the extent that their grantees achieve meaningful results, GEO promotes grantmaking practices that improve nonprofit results.
