Grantmakers

DataArts is a perfect resource for grantmakers seeking access to powerful tools and insights that lead to more effective and strategic grantmaking.

DataArts offers grantmakers the tools to manage applicant-pool information along with easy access to an extensive national database of reliable, consistent, longitudinal data on cultural nonprofits. Coming soon, we will also provide analytic reports to support your decision-making and measure outcomes, and help you make the case for funding to your board, staff, and other stakeholders.

By making the CDP a required part of your grant application process, you are contributing to an important national information resource about and for the arts and cultural sector. As a Participating Grantmaker, you’ll receive a Funder Report for each of your applicants, information on your applicant pools, as well as unlimited Support Center services for your applicants completing the CDP survey. Your applicants will benefit from streamlined and consistent reporting – and less duplicative data entry – when they use the CDP for more than one participating grant program. As an added bonus, they will gain access to DataArts analytic reports and educational resources, all at no cost.
