Darren joins SMU DataArts from the world of orchestra management. He served as Executive Director of both the Las Colinas Symphony Orchestra and the Billings Symphony Orchestra & Chorale. Prior to that he was a Fellow at the DeVos Institute of Arts Management and has also served in fundraising roles for several other orchestras and cultural organizations. Darren has a bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with a minor in Music from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
