Allison Heishman (she/her) is an Arts Administrator, Theatre Director, and Educator who has been a member of the Philadelphia artistic community for over 20 years. In May 2020, she joined the SMU DataArts team and looks forward to providing support and service to public funding agencies, private foundation partners, and national service organizations by helping them derive maximum value from their partnership with this organization. In addition to her work at SMU DataArts, she serves as the Artistic Director of Simpatico Theatre and Interim Artistic Director of Azuka Theatre. She has previously worked with The Wilma Theater, The University of the Arts, Arcadia University, Rowan University, Tiny Dynamite, Revolution Shakespeare, The Walnut Street Theatre, and the National Constitution Center. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Arts and Nonprofit Leadership at SMU and is a proud alumna of Washington College in Chestertown, MD.
