Melissa Fetter

Community Volunteer

Melissa is a community volunteer with an interest in equitable access to the arts, education, and public broadcasting. Having served as an active volunteer in Dallas for the past 13 yearsshe recently moved to Boston, where she serves on the board of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum and as Vice-Chair of the NPR Foundation. She is the immediate past Chair of the Dallas Museum of Art Board of Trustees, a Past Chair of the Board of Directors of North Texas Public Broadcasting (KERA/KXT), and the past Chair of the SMU Meadows School of the Arts Advisory Board where she helped to secure the seed funding for SMU DataArts. In addition, Melissa is a past-trustee of the AT&T Performing Arts Center and a past trustee of the St. Philip's School and Community Center. Melissa is an active volunteer for Stanford University where she currently chairs the Arts Advisory Board. She is a lifetime trustee and past chair of the board of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, in Santa Barbara, CA. Melissa is formerly a Vice-President of JP Morgan in New York City and Los Angeles and holds an Honors degree in the Humanities from Stanford University.
