Karen Yair grew up playing piano and loving all sorts of music, from Chopin to tango and swing. She has led research, strategy, and program work for organizations including Youth Music, the UK Crafts Council, NYC Gay Men’s Chorus and Music for Youth. On staff at the League since 2015, Karen leads a talented and dedicated team responsible for League conferences and events, digital learning, data and research, leadership development, and grant-making. Karen lives in Brooklyn with her son, her husband, and a rather cantankerous cat.
