Education Associate
rbrown@culturaldata.org

Rachel Brown joined DataArts in 2011 as a member of the Support Center team, supervised the West Coast shift, and stepped into the role of Education Associate in 2014. Rachel is jazzed by the disruptive power of creative practice, which she is currently exploring through sacred chant and Theatre of the Oppressed techniques. Her work as a facilitator is informed by experience as an activist and organizer. Whether during a one-time workshop or building a local organizing group from the ground up, Rachel is interested in co-creating joyful spaces that allow for peer-to-peer learning. She graduated magna cum laude with a BA in mathematics from Smith College, where she served as Glee Club President during her senior year.
